David Lobban scored the only goal as Dunfermline Athletic won 1-0 away to Morton in the Scottish Championship on Saturday. The result lifts Dunfermline to fourth in the table with 12 points from seven matches.
Lobban found the net in the 62nd minute, finishing a move created by Ryan Fraser. The Pars had to withstand late pressure from the hosts, who saw striker Chukwudi Okike booked in stoppage time.
Dunfermline manager James McPake made five substitutions in the second half to see out the win, bringing on Owen Shaw, Lewis Robinson, Zak Rudden, Kyle Bray and Chris Kane. The clean sheet was the team's second in their last three league games.
The victory extends Dunfermline's recent run to three wins, one draw and one loss from their last five outings. They now sit seven points behind league leaders Stenhousemuir.
